Classical Conversations

We are excited to announce our partnership with your Classical Conversations community. We know that, together, we can go much further and faster than we could alone!

The Bucket Ministry is a passionate group of ordinary people singularly committed to bringing The Gospel and the gift of clean, safe, drinking water to all the underserved areas of the world. We accomplish this through our unique four-step process:

  • Assessments: Assessing the scope of clean water scarcity in individual communities (e.g. bacterial water testing).
  • Distributions: Distributing water filters, one per family, that last 20+ years or up to one million gallons. We also provide anti-parasitic medicine to treat their preexisting waterborne illnesses and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
  • Follow-Up: We conduct a minimum of three routine follow-up visits with the recipient to nurture their new relationship with Jesus Christ and evaluate how well they are maintaining their new filter.
  • Discipleship: We provide Bibles to every family who is receptive to the Gospel message, connect them with local churches, and give them discipleship training to create new believers in their communities.

The tool that we use around the world to share God’s love through the gift of clean, safe, drinking water is the Sawyer PointONE hollow fiber membrane filter. This filter uses the same sophisticated technology used in kidney dialysis: tiny micron filtration. Because of this, the Sawyer PointONE totally removes all bacteria, protozoa, and cysts like E. coli, Giardia, Cholera, and Typhoid from drinking water. The PointONE’s membranes are sturdy enough to withstand daily back-washing which allows the filter to be cleaned and reused repeatedly. If properly maintained, the filter will last up to 20+ years, or one-million gallons.

GIS Data Tracking: Every filter we distribute is tracked through our proprietary GIS software called Mission Mapping. This allows us to directly connect our donors with the people who are on the receiving end of their generosity. The donor has access to the name of the recipient, a picture of them, and general demographic information on the community they live in.

This is Kibera, one of the largest slums in Africa. This is where all donations made through our partnership with Classical Conversations will directly go to serve.

If located in the DFW metroplex (and all surrounding suburbs), you can schedule an in-person filter demonstration. If located elsewhere in Texas, you can schedule a filter demonstration on Zoom. Request either by emailing [email protected]
