Pray.
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Ephesians 6:18
Most, if not all, Christians recognize that prayer is an integral part of faith. Prayer is an essential part to the growth and continuance of a relationship with God.
Prayer is also an essential part of missions, including those with The Bucket Ministry. Director of Operations in Honduras Job Gámez said how much prayer means to the mission of TBM.
“What we require is an army of warriors praying for the field, for safety in the field, for safety in the road, and also that people will use the filter in the right way,” Gámez said. “It’s hard to see the impact of the prayers, but it’s there. When we pray, we prepare the field with the prayers, the impact is better and bigger and will last longer.”
We encourage you to pray this prayer today. We hope it encourages you and allows you to lift up others as well.
Dear God,
Thank you so much for this day. Thank you for all that you have given us.
Today, I want to pray specifically for the mission field, both domestic and international.
We ask that you us strength and ability to share the gospel where we are. If it be your will, we pray that you will help us to expand our mission field.
We pray for those who are already spreading your word will find the words to say and the hearts to share your love.
We pray that the hearts of those reached will be open and willing to accept the Gospel.
We pray that in all things your will be done.
Thank you for sending your Son to die for the forgiveness of our sins.
In Christ’s name,
Amen.

Give.
“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
2 Corinthians 9:11
Just like with praying, God calls us to give. Giving helps us to use the blessings bestowed by God to further His Kingdom.
The Bucket Ministry uses each donation given, big or small, to share God’s love through the gift of clean, safe drinking water. Just $50 can provide about 1 million gallons of clean water for over 20 years to a family in need.
In America, clean water is often taken for granted, but in many other countries, clean water is a luxury. People in remote areas of countries like Kenya, Honduras and Vietnam become sick from bacteria and parasites.

Go.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
As people of faith, we are called to go. We must share the good news of salvation with everyone. Some of us are blessed with the ability to travel the world to bring the gospel to others, but that is not the only way.
Jesus says to “go and make disciples of all nations,” even your own. Each place you visit in your everyday life is your own mission field.
If you do have the means to visit other countries and cultures to share the gospel, it is very beneficial. Witnessing the people of the world broadens your perspective and allows you to better empathize with all of humankind.
The Bucket Ministry visits many countries throughout the year to distribute water filters and share the gospel. Join us on one to witness the transformative power of God’s love.
