Roy Stacy was born in west Texas, and was raised in the Baptist Church where his father was a Deacon. They were one of those families who went to church every time the doors opened. At age 12 Roy was baptized in a small Baptist church.
After attending Angelo State University, Roy graduated from Baylor Law School and began practicing law in Dallas in 1975. Roy is currently senior partner in the Dallas litigation law firm of Stacy, Conder, Allen.
Roy and his wife Amanda have attended Lakepointe Church in Rockwall since 1995. Recently Roy has served as one of the teachers of his Life Group.
Over the years Roy has been on several mission trips with Lakepointe Church, including to Mexico, Cuba, and Egypt. Recently he went on the inaugural mission trip to Nepal with The Bucket Ministry.
Several years ago Chris Beth demonstrated the water filter to Roy‘s Life Group, and then ultimately Chris became a member of that Life Group. That opened Roy‘s eyes to the wonderful tool that is offered by The Bucket Ministry as it provides both clean water, and an opportunity to share the gospel, to people all over the world.
Roy and his wife have lived in Heath, Texas for 25 years and have two children and five grandchildren.
