Beverly first connected with The Bucket Ministry in 2017 when, at a local Starbucks, she met Christopher Beth who offered her a first taste of dirty drinking water from the lake using the Sawyer water filter. She knew at that moment that she wanted to be a part of The Bucket Ministry.
Beverly grew up on the mission field, living in Chile, South America, where she was born. Then moving to Mexico where her parents and grandparents served as Salvation Army officers. At a young age, her parents introduced her to a relationship with Jesus and modeled the lifestyle of having a heart to God and a hand to man.
She followed in the family tradition and spent 20+ years working for The Salvation Army in an executive position, leading development teams in Texas and Florida, having oversight of their fundraising, corporate partnerships, marketing and communications, and helping raise over $450 million for the mission.
Beverly currently serves as TBM’s Director of Joy and believes that generosity is something God wants FOR us, not FROM us. She wants to help people find greater joy, freedom, and purpose. Not in their possessions, but through leading a life of Jesus-like generosity.
