Next Friday, June 26 at 7 p.m. CDT, The Bucket Ministry is hosting our second virtual Trivia Night. After a successful first event, we are excited to present another opportunity for fun, while sharing a little about our ministry.
Last summer, The Bucket Ministry hosted our first trivia night event at a restaurant in Rockwall, Texas. It was a successful night of fun engagement and community building. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, The Bucket Ministry team began brainstorming ways to connect with our community despite the social distancing requirements. As a result of this, the team hosted our first virtual trivia night about a month ago.
The event was hosted on Zoom video conferencing platform. This type of event in this format was new for our team, but the night went extremely well. We received great feedback from participants. We have made some changes and improvements based on this feedback to improve our next events.
Though COVID-19 restrictions are loosening, many people are still practicing social distancing or are avoiding large gatherings. The Bucket Ministry wants to use this time to connect despite health concerns, distance or any other circumstances.
Our team is looking forward to a great night with new categories and fun questions. Previous categories include Movies & TV, Sports, General Knowledge and Famous Quotes. We had over 20 teams last time, and we hope to have even more for this event!
